Friday Five!

Hey, everyone! So, it's Saturday right now, while I'm writing this. But I spent the whole day yesterday at my friend's house for a project, so I couldn't post anything. So here's my Friday Five. Hope you enjoy! (:

1.) Four and a half weeks of school left! Ahh!

2.) I found out where I get my dirty blonde hair from. Thanks, Dad. (:

3.) My new favorite song at the moment is "The One That Got Away" by Katy Perry.

4.) Our band performed in front of the whole cafeteria on Thursday, in honor of Cinco de Mayo. It was a little scary, but it actually went really well.

5.) Taylor Swift's music video for "Mean" was just recently released. I love it! I can't wait to see other music videos from her.

The Unknown

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the "Unknown." When I'm lying in bed, my mind wanders to questions like: Where will I be in five years? Will my close friends now, still be close to me then? Will I meet someone special?
I honestly believe everything happens for a reason. Everything you say or do. Or what you didn't say or didn't do. I believe that somehow, in the end, it all meshes together and creates something. Maybe our future.
It's easy to believe everything happens for a reason. What's hard is waiting for the reason to come along. But it does, eventually.

I know there's no way I can get an answer to those questions above. I just have to wait and see how everything turns out. So, I've decided to just enjoy the show.

Pure Happiness

I love that invincible feeling you get when you're happy. Up until a couple of months ago, I don't think I knew what happiness was. Well I did, but I never really felt it.
I like how you have the sudden urge to jump onto the lunch tables at the cafeteria and sing at the top of your lungs. When you have a smile on your face...just because.
For me, I can only tell whether I'm happy or not when I'm in bed, after my homework's done and my phone is on my nightstand. While I wait for sleep to come, just staring at the celing fan.
Ture happiness is on the inside. It radiates onto the outside. I hope I come off to people like that. I hope they think, "Wow she looks so happy."
You could be the ugliest person in the world. But if you're happy, you're probably the most prettiest. Pure happiness does that to you.

First Impression

Hello, blogosphere! This is my very first post, ever. I've been wanting to create a blog for awhile now, because I've always loved the fact that you can share pretty much anything.
My blog will consist of randomness. Sometimes I'll talk about my life, how things are going for me. Other times I may be subtle and personal, more for my eyes and my understanding. Know what I mean?
